The starting pitching was perfectly cromulent this week, outside of one bad start from Adrian Houser, which he redeemed with yeoman’s work in relief yesterday in the one game the Mets won. This week also saw the return of Tylor Megill to the rotation. But it was a week of bullpen meltdowns, which were the main reason the Mets had such an awful week. Edwin Díaz continues to be inconsistent and Reed Garrett has turned back into a pumpkin, but hopefully not for good.
We’ll start with Tylor Megill since he is the new face on this week’s meter.
