The Mets pitching staff had a pretty good ten games overall to begin the second half with the exception of Sunday’s game, but the Mets continue to lose relievers to injury. There are a couple of new faces on this meter: Alex Young, who the Mets picked up off waivers, and Ryne Stanek, who they acquired for Rhylan Thomas ahead of today’s trade deadline.

We’ll start with Ryne Stanek who has the unfortunate distinction of getting a poop emoji in his first meter. He gave up two home runs in his first inning as a Met and was charged with three runs on Sunday.
