Noah Syndergaard’s complaints didn’t get him anywhere.
His request for a personal catcher isn’t expected to be granted for his next start at least, manager Mickey Callaway said on Wednesday.
Wilson Ramos is “more than likely” to be behind the plate for Syndergaard’s next start, Friday against the Dodgers at Citi Field, according to Callaway. That decision comes in the wake of The Post report that Syndergaard confronted pitching strategist Jeremy Accardo, Callaway and general manager Brodie Van Wagenen last weekend when he realized Ramos would be behind the plate in his most recent start on Sunday.
