The Mets have placed relief pitcher Anthony Swarzak, who left his second appearance with the team with an oblique injury, on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to April 1. To take his place on the roster and in the bullpen, the team has recalled Hansel Robles.
In two-and-one-third innings over two appearances in a Mets uniform, Swarzak has three strikeouts, one walked, and gave up one home run, a solo shot. The team signed him to a two-year, $14 million contract over the offseason to bolster its bullpen. And Swarzak pitched really well last year, with a 2.
