It’s easy to get wrapped up and awestruck by how the Mets pitchers can light up the radar gun. The Mets’ pitching staff is one of veteran leadership mixed with almost unlimited potential. But there’s one thing that isn’t as obvious, but a big contributor to the value of this pitching staff and its success last year and the start of 2016.
They don’t walk anybody. Well not anybody, but you get the point. Their command of the strike zone is arguably the best in the league and Mets pitchers don’t fool around when they’re ahead in the count.
