Whether Pete Alonso begins the season with the New York Mets or in Triple-A Syracuse remains to be seen. But, either way, we are primed to see a lot of Alonso this season.
Drafted in the second round of the 2016 draft out of the University of Florida, Alonso rose through the ranks quickly and has developed himself into the top prospect in the Mets’ system and the top first baseman prospect in all of the MLB.
In 2018, Alonso split time between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Las Vegas.
