On July 26th, the Dodgers and Mets finished up a four-game series at Citi Field. The Mets, just two days after acquiring Juan Uribe and Kelly Johnson from the Braves, snapped Zack Greinke’s incredible 45.2-inning scoreless streak, just a day after routing the Dodgers 15-2. They ultimately captured a series split after Uribe launched a walk-off single into center field.
It is a foregone conclusion that if and when the Mets win the National League East, they will go on to face the Dodgers in the NLDS. The only question is: where will the series begin?
