Juan Lagares one night. Carlos Gomez the next. Now Tomas Nido.

The Mets’ offensive heroes have been as hard to predict as the weather.

The backup catcher Nido was the latest to send the injury-riddled Mets to a walk-off victory, drilling a solo homer to right-center field to send them to a 5-4, 13-inning victory Saturday over the Tigers and make a winner out of Hector Santiago.
