Despite three solo homers, the Mets dropped their third straight game, 6-3, in the first of four against the Diamondbacks on Thursday night at Chase Field.

1) Brandon Nimmo, Michael Conforto and Amed Rosario homered for the Mets, who scored in more than one inning for the first time in 10 games. Of the last 21 home runs New York has hit, 17 have been solo shots. Dominic Smith singled for New York's only other hit.
2) Jason Vargas (2-5) surrendered three runs on five hits -- two homers -- and two walks while striking out five in five innings.
