Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes left a rehab game with Double-A Binghamton on Saturday night with tightness in his right quad, according to the team.
Cespedes was removed in the bottom of the third inning as a precautionary measure, reports James Wagner of the New York Times. and he will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
The 32-year-old Cespedes said on Friday night that he expected to play five innings on Saturday. He started in LF and went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles before he was removed from the game.
He went 0-for-2 in his first rehab game on Friday night.
