Mets OF Curtis Granderson scratched from tonight's starting lineup

Mets OF Curtis Granderson was scratched from tonight's starting lineup.

He was replaced in right field by Alejandro De Aza.

He left Tuesday's game against the Nationals for precautionary reasons after being unable to get loose at the conclusion of the second rain delay, the team said.

Granderson had his right calf wrapped and did pregame drills to see if he was capable of playing, Terry Collins told reporters before tonight's game.

"I just started feeling a little discomfort in it this weekend in Atlanta," Granderson recently explained. "It wasn't really bothering me too much, just a little bit.
