To keep out of last place, the Mets need to win at least one of their upcoming three games against the Marlins. The series begins night in Miami. However, if Miami wins all three, the Mets will be dead last.

Finally, Mets manager Mickey Callaway is going to start using Michael Conforto as only a corner outfielder, while letting Brandon Nimmo get more time up the middle.

"I really feel those guys feel little bit more comfortable in those positions," Callaway told reporters Wednesday at Citi Field.
