We’re not here to pass judgment or discriminate, but to think that Syndergaard has developed into a 6’3″ flame-throwing co-co-co-ace of the upstart Mets is astonishing. He now throws 101 with a hammer curveball and undeniable presence on the mound.
He has set a Mets rookie record with 20 strikeouts in a single postseason, and that number will most certainly rise during his next turn through the rotation.
