Mets’ No. 1 pick making Cyclones impression — before debut

Justin Dunn, the Mets’ 2016 first-round draft pick out of Boston College, suits up for what could be his professional debut Monday night.

The Freeport, Long Island, native will be in the bullpen as the Single-A Cyclones play at Batavia. Brooklyn beat the Connecticut Tigers, 5-4, to break a four-game losing streak Sunday night.

A right-hander with four different pitches — fastball, changeup, slider and curveball — Dunn was selected with the 19th pick in the opening round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft last month following a wildly successful junior season with the Eagles.

This spring, BC went from unranked to finishing the season 15th in the country.
