Mets News: Matt Reynolds reportedly being added to NLDS roster

Although unconfirmed by the organization, it is being reported minor league infielder Matt Reynolds will replace injured shortstop Ruben Tejada on the Mets NLDS roster.

Ruben Tejada broke his right fibula in the seventh inning of Game Two when L.A.’s Chase Utley slid late into second base while attempting to break-up a potential double play. The play can be seen HERE.

Matt Reynolds, 24, has no major league experience. He was drafted by the Mets in the second round of the 2012 amateur draft.

Reynolds totaled 183 games with the (AAA) Las Vegas 51s over the previous two seasons, where he posted a combined slash of .
