The Mets just completed the greatest weekend in their seven years at Citi Field, showing off their big three pitchers, hitting home runs all over the place and for once showing the Nats they ain't taking any more crap from them.
Of all the things that happened over the last three days, the biggest statement came from Noah Syndegaard in the eighth inning Sunday when he blew a 99 mph heater past Bryce Harper to end his night. In one pitch, Syndergaard told Harper and the Nats things have changed.
