Backed by big hits from Curtis Granderson and Michael Cuddyer, Noah Syndergaard allowed one run in six innings on Sunday afternoon to pick up his first major league win during New York's 5-1 victory over Milwaukee.
Syndergaard appeared rattled after hitting former Met Carlos Gomez in the helmet with a fastball during the sixth inning. Although Gomez was forced to leave the game, it looks like he's going to be okay.
