Mets Morning News: The boys of summer have gone

Noah Syndergaard took to the hill for the final game of 2018 and dominated. He pitched his second complete game of 2018 but this time it was a complete game shutout for the big righty. He was quick and efficient with his pitches and had no trouble making a 1-0 lead stand up. After an emotionally draining weekend, the Mets finished their season on a high note as they face an uncertain future without their captain and with a new GM.

The David Wright era is now officially over but for the Captain and the fans they will always have one final night to remember.
