MLB owners are set to vote on Steve Cohen’s purchase of the Mets at 1:30 PM EDT today. The Yankees will reportedly be among the teams voting yes.
Mayor Bill de Blasio has clarified that he is doing his legal due diligence regarding the sale. He is expected to sign off on the lease transfer today if Cohen is approved by MLB.
