Mets Morning News: Noah Sydnergaard dominates, Amed Rosario set to return, Royals sign Mike Moustakas on the cheap

Noah Syndergaard was lights out in his spring training start against the Nationals yesterday, striking out the last seven batters he faced. And he says he’s not in mid-season form just yet. It was about as encouraging as a spring training start can get for a guy who’s already proven himself and then some at the major league level. Ken Davidoff writes that Syndergaard is perhaps the most indispensable player to his team in baseball.

Amed Rosario is set to play in the Mets’ spring training game as the DH for one or two at-bats and get back into the field tomorrow.
