The Mets closed out their series against the Marlins with a win. Noah Syndergaard was solid on the mound and pitched seven innings and struck out seven. Jose Reyes and Michael Conforto helped power the offense with a home run each. Seth Lugo nailed down the save and the Mets took the series.
The win was certainly nice but more importantly David Wright played in a rehab game. He went 0-for-3 in five innings but it was certainly a step in the right direction for the captain.
