After not making any moves during the day, the team took on Lucas Giolito and the White Sox and again they needed late-inning heroics to get the victory. They rallied in the ninth after a misplay by Tim Anderson opened the door. Todd Frazier and Michael Conforto picked up the big hits to give the Mets their first lead of the night. Edwin Diaz had a little hiccup and gave up a home run but ended it with relative ease to continue the win streak.
