Mets Morning News: Mets look to sweep Rockies on final day of first half

The Mets won their fifth game in a row on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Rockies 7-3. Christian Scott got the start and pitched into the fifth inning, while Jose Butto provided two excellent innings in relief. At the plate, Jeff McNeil had a two-run double in the second inning, while Francisco Lindor hit a three-run homer to straightaway center in the eighth inning. The Mets will look to sweep the Rockies this afternoon to win their sixth game in a row and close out the first half on a high note.
