The Mets had one of their most dramatic games of the season in their series opener against the Diamondbacks. After a rough David Peterson start, the bullpen held Arizona to one run in 8 1⁄3 innings of work, and the team was able to claw back from a deficit thanks in large part to a game-tying two-run homer from Francisco Lindor. Then with the bases loaded in the tenth Patrick Mazeika hit a dribbler that scored the runner from third to give the Mets a 5-4 victory.
