Pete Alonso made his fifth appearance in the Home Run Derby last night, though it did not go well—the two-time winner hit just twelve dingers and was eliminated in the first round.
As Alonso entered his fourth All-Star week, he remains at a crossroads as far as his future with the Mets is concerned.
While Alonso arguably did not deserve to be an All-Star participant over some of his teammates, he still has plenty of star power to offer.
