Michael Conforto collided with Jeff McNeil on the warning track in right-center while they tried to catch up with Anthony Rendon ’s RBI triple in the fourth inning of the Mets’ 7-6 comeback victory over the Nationals on Friday night at Citi Field.
It was a scary sight, since Conforto, who had the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, has missed time because of a concussion, but he said he was OK.
“I know the trainers were concerned,’’ Conforto said. “I didn’t feel anything. I knew I got hit in the head.
