VIERA, Fla. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Mets rookie Steven Matz was shaky Friday, as he yielded three runs in two-plus winnings of work during a 9-5 loss to the Washington Nationals.

The Long Island native gave up two hits and walked two.

Meanwhile, Washington ace Stephen Strasburg tossed three solid innings in his second spring training start.
