Mets right-hander Matt Harvey, who is rehabbing from Thoracic Outlet surgery, is also giving back.
He attended the Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day at BGC Partners on Monday, an annual event that remembers the 658 employees who were killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
At each year’s annual event, the company gives 100 percent of its global revenue to the Cantor Fitzgerald relief fund and dozens of other charities around the world.
Harvey has been attending the event since 2014, with Curtis Granderson also having attended in the past.
It’s great to see Harvey — a resident of Manhattan — partaking in an event that helps so many who were touched by the tragic events of September 11.
