Mets: Matt Harvey’s innings situation still unresolved

After implying that he was on board with a strict 180-inning limit, Matt Harvey wrote on Sunday that he would pitch in the playoffs. On Monday, Mets GM Sandy Alderson said that Harvey would get fewer than four more starts the remainder of the regular season and that his availability for the entirety of the playoffs is unknown.

According to Alderson, the situation has not yet been fully figured out with Harvey and Scott Boras.

Harvey will pitch on Tuesday against the Nationals and the plan is to have him pitch during the final series of the regular season against the Nationals at Citi Field.
