The Mets losing streak is now at seven games after losing in extra innings to the Diamondbacks Wednesday afternoon.
The Mets took an early lead when Michael Conforto slammed a two-run homer in the top of the first. Conforto now has 10 home runs, tied for the team lead with Jay Bruce.
Matt Harvey gave one of the runs back in the bottom of the inning, courtesy of a lead off triple and a ground out.
The Mets blew a potential opportunity in the second.
