Eric Young, Jr., Logan Verrett, Bobby Parnell, Eric Campbell, and Anthony Recker will not be on the Mets’ roster for the NLDS, the team announced.
The five players will head to the Mets’ complex in Port St. Lucie, where they will work out and stay in shape in case they are needed at some point during the postseason.
If a player suffers an injury during the NLDS, the Mets will have the option to replace them with any other eligible player who was initially left off the NLDS roster.
