MIAMI - Looks like we might have a race in the NL East after all.
The Mets lost to the Marlins in 11 innings Friday night, 6-5, on Martin Prado's walk-off double that scored Christian Yelich from first base at Marlins Park.
Prado hit a scorcher inside the first-base bag against Eric O'Flaherty with two outs. There was no throw home as Yelich scored easily on Prado's fifth hit of the game.
The Mets had tied the score with two outs on the ninth on three consecutive singles, the last by Kelly Johnson.
Earlier, the Nationals came from behind to beat the Braves, 5-2, in 10 innings, on a pinch-hit, walk-off, three-run home run by Michael Taylor.
