Mets veteran infielder Juan Uribe is showing significant progress towards recovering from a chest injury which he suffered on Sept. 25th against the Cincinnati Reds.
Uribe was seen on the field along with his teammates during batting practice before Game 2 of the NLCS against the Cubs at Citi Field.
Uribe took some swings before the game, and he also took some ground balls on the infield.
Uribe was acquired along with another veteran infielder, Kelly Johnson, from the Atlanta Braves on July 24th. Both Johnson and Uribe have been proven to come up clutch for the Mets in their short tenures with the team.
