Mets' Jenrry Mejia suspended 162 games after testing positive for PEDs

Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejia has been suspended for 162 games without pay after testing positive for Stanzolol and Boldenone, MLB announced Tuesday.

The substances are considered performance-enhancing drugs under the league's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Mejia served an 80-game suspension earlier in the year after also testing positive for Stanzolol on April 11.
