The New York Mets are reportedly interested in free agent reliever Andrew Miller, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. Andy Martino added that Miller is seeking a multi-year deal. Miller has spent the last two-and-a-half seasons with the Cleveland Indians, where he worked with pitching coach and current Mets manager Mickey Callaway in 2016 and 2017.
After failing to build a career as a starting pitcher, Miller transitioned to the bullpen and became one of baseball’s premiere relief pitchers from 2014-2017. Across those four seasons, he posted a 1.
