Mets Insider: Harvey won't be available out of pen in Game 5

Matt Harvey will be able to make two starts should the Mets advance to the NLCS. However, the right-hander, whose workload has been the topic of controversy, will not be available out of the bullpen in Game 5 of the NLDS Thursday in Los Angeles.

"We'll monitor his pitches and how he is feeling," Terry Collins said, "but yes, he should be able to make two starts."

Harvey's workload was the center of a firestorm last month when his agent said that he needed to be shut down after 180 innings because it was his first season back from Tommy John surgery.
