MIAMI – Michael Cuddyer was not in the lineup Friday night as the Mets lost to the Marlins, 6-5, in 11 innings, and it looks like he won’t be there for a while. The veteran was diagnosed with tendinitis and will be in splint for “a day or so.”
“It’s tendinitis that we have to get calmed down,” Cuddyer said after seeing a doctor on Friday. “I’m going to have a little splint for a day or so, to restrict the mobility to get it to calm down. Hopefully in a couple days it gets back to normal.
