The Mets moved one step closer to bringing back Jose Reyes to Flushing, signing the infielder to a Minor League deal on Saturday.
The club announced that he would report to low Class A, where he was expected to play for the Brooklyn Cyclones on Sunday. Reyes is set to speak to the media after the game.
