I'm finally home from Port St. Lucie, where I had an awesome week taking pictures, writing and observing the Mets. This is a balanced, talented and confident team that has themselves in good position for 2016. I have no doubt it's going to be a fun season, start to finish.
Here are a some takeaways about the team...
- The Mets appear loose and confident, but not cocky.
- The roster is strong and deep and bonding. It's clear most of these guys are good friends, having played alongside one another for so many years through the minor leagues.
