The Mets’ managerial search continues, as it’s been reported by several outlets that the team will conduct a third round of interviews with candidates to take the job from which Mickey Callaway was fired. Carlos Beltran, Eduardo Perez, and Tim Bogar are among those getting a third interview, per Anthony DiComo, and Twins bench coach Derek Shelton is, too, according to Joel Sherman.
Whether or not there are other candidates still in the running at this point isn’t known. DiComo tweeted that other than the recent revelation that Pat Murphy was the infamous mysetery candidate, there didn’t seem to be any other candidates remaining.
