The Mets have discussed a three-team trade with the Yankees and Marlins that would bring catcher J.T. Realmuto to Queens, per Ken Rosenthal. And in the same tweet, Rosenthal says that it’s “not known if Noah Syndergaard is involved” in the talks and that the Mets wouldn’t part with him if they were only getting Realmuto back.
SNY’s Andy Martino says that the Mets and Yankees are involved in three-way trade talks, but nothing is imminent, and Mike Puma of the Post says there have been talks that would bring Realmuto to Queens and send Syndergaard to the Bronx.
