The Mets dedicated their day off on Friday towards helping victims of Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area.
According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, some players helped to unpack a truck at a church while others met with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. Mets employees spent time volunteering at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
