First the Mets bounced Dillon Gee from the rotation. Now they have evicted him from Queens altogether.
Gee — who pitched horribly Sunday in a spot start out of the bullpen — will be designated for assignment, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed.
Gee, 29, is 0-3 with a 5.90 ERA and a whopping 55 hits allowed in 39 2/3 innings.
The right-hander’s exit paves the way for top prospect Steven Matz, who has been lights-out at Triple-A, to make his major league debut the next time the Mets need a sixth starter.
