NEW YORK -- New York Mets minor leaguer Jose Martinez was suspended by MLB for 60 games for a positive test for stanozolol, a performance-enhancing drug, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday.
Martinez, 21, recently converted to pitching after previously being a shortstop. He was 1-0 with a 5.51 ERA in 13 relief appearances for the Gulf Coast League Mets in 2015.
