Mets fans celebrate World Series appearance in Queens

This was one Amazin’ party.

Euphoric Mets fans filled the street outside Queens Borough Hall Monday for a raucous rally on the eve of their hard luck team’s improbable appearance in baseball’s Fall Classic.

Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens became a sea of blue and orange, as jersey-wearing, team-loving, banner-waving Mets fanatics celebrated the team’s first World Series appearance in 15 years.

"I wanted to show our support and it looked like a nice day,” said Brittany Lordson, 29, of New Hyde Park.
