Mets fans can feed their World Series fever without flying to Kansas City at a pep rally in the Queens backyard of the Amazin’s.
Former players and fan favorites John Franco and Edgardo Alfonzo will be featured at the free rally hosted by Queens Borough President Melinda Katz and the Mets outside Borough Hall from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
The first 500 fans will get free T-shirts. There will also be free snacks, a rock-climbing wall, music and face painting.
“Calling all New Yorkers everywhere, it’s time to bring out your orange and blue,” said Katz.
