The Mets have declined 2021 team options on Wilson Ramos, Todd Frazier, and Robinson Chirinos, per a report from Newsday. None of the three players had been expected to have his option picked up by the team.
Ramos had the biggest option for next year at what would have been a $10 million salary if the Mets had picked it up. Signed two a two-year, $19 million contract before the 2019 season, the veteran never matched the very good year he had at the plate in 2018.
