Mets Daily Prospect Report, 9/11/24: Zuber goober, Blade fade, Ryan flyin’

GAME ONE

WORCESTER 11, SYRACUSE 4 (BOX)

This game began in top of the fifth with Syracuse winning 4-2, picking up where August 11th’s suspended game was stopped. It would’ve been better if the game was just called, as Syracuse quickly gave up the lead when the contest resumed. The Red Sox knotted things up at 4-4 before the fifth ended and then scored an additional run in the seventh. Ultimately, Tyler Zuber screwed the pooch by allowing six ninth-inning runs; the bottom of Syracuse’s lineup was due in the bottom of the frame anyway, making a comeback a bit more difficult, but now down nine runs, no chance.
