Yet another homer for Drew Gilbert, who homered for the third time in five games. He’s really come on of late, and could honestly get a chance down the stretch here (particularly if the Mets keep losing). The same is even more true of Luke Ritter, who I’d really love to see get that one major league appearance if the Mets slip out of contention (or if they clinch early, in that unlikely scenario). Also the Mets lost because Dom Hamel and Tyler Zuber got shelled.
