It was a putrid offensive showing for the 51s, as they managed only four hits in a 4-0 loss to Fresno. P.J. Conlon was roughed up for three runs in 4.2 innings, and didn’t make it out of the fifth. Eric Hanhold gave up another run in the sixth without recording an out, and the 51s were in a 4-0 hole they wouldn’t come close to escaping. Zach Borenstein and Colton Plaia managed doubles, but were stranded at second as the rest of the offense sputtered.
